We will arrange the best deluxe hotel in Kathmandu as your requirement and tea-houses lodge during the trek. All accommodations are on twin-shared basis. However, tea-houses in some places only have shared washing and toilet facilities. Also note that single rooms are readily available in Kathmandu and the trekking area at lower elevation but it might be difficult to find them at higher elevations of the trekking.

During our trekking trip, we may enjoy authentic Nepalese food as well the more common international cuisine like Tibetan, Continental and Indian. Breakfast and dinner will be served from the tea-house or from a lodge menu where we spend the night whereas lunch will be served on the way to the next destination. All meals will be provided during the trek while only breakfast will be available in Kathmandu and Pokhara. There will be also be welcome and farewell dinner for guests in Kathmandu.

Physical Condition and Previous Experience
Annapurna Heli Trek is a moderate trek suitable for passionate walkers who have the ability to walk at least 5 to 7 hours a day with a light rucksack. In some days we might even need to walk for 6 to 8 hours. Walking in higher altitudes is more physically demanding than walking in the lower altitudes however, if we are in excellent health with average physical fitness, have a positive attitude and strong determination, we may accomplish the trek successfully. Exercising and jogging regularly is good idea to enhance our strength and stability. Previous trekking experience would be an asset but no technical skill is required for this trip. Participants with Pre-existing medical conditions such as heart and blood diseases should inform us before booking the trips. We also recommend that you consult your doctor before the trip.

Best Time to Travel
March to May and September to December are the best months for this trekking trips. Although this trip can be taken during winter, the cold temperature might not be suitable for everyone.


Day 1: Arrival Kathmandu

Arrive at Kathmandu airport, greet and transfer to hotel by Glance Himalaya’s member. Evening short briefing about the Annapurna Helicopter trip

Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara

Morning after breakfast we will drive to Pokhara by tourist bus, it will takes about 6 hours. Evening we will have local tour near Phewa Lake

Day 3: Pokhara to Tikhedhunga

After having the breakfast in Pokhara you will start your journey for Annapurna Poonhill Trekking. Drive by car to the Nayapul via large village of Kaski, it will be about 1 hour 30 minutes drive. You will start your dream trek from Nayapul with crossing a large and prosperous town Birethanti. Today the trekking trails follows the bamboo forests and past waterfalls with plunge pools which invite you to swim. You can have a lunch at small village Sudame. After lunch the trail climb steadily up to the Hile, after 2 hours you will arrive Tikhedhunga.

Day 4: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani

From Tikhedhunga the trail ascend to Ulleri village through a stone staircase. Ulleri is a large Magar villages situate at 2070m. From Ulleri the trail gently climb through pasture and cultivated fields as you climb up you walk up besides the cascading river through refreshingly cool oak and rhododendron forest. We have a lunch at Nangethanti. And evening at Ghorepani, From Ghorepani you will see majestic views of Dhaulagiri I (8167m), Tukuche Peak, Nilgiri (6940m), Annapurna South, Annapurna I (8091m), Hiunchuli (6441m) and Tarke Kang (7193m) and other mountains.

Day 5: Ghorepani to Tadapani

Early morning trek up to Poon Hill, from Poon Hill you will see one of the beautiful himalayan panaroma views. Poon Hill provides an unobstructed view of sunrise over the high Himalayas. From Poon Hill one can enjoy spectacular view of Dhaulagiri (8167m), Tukuche Peak Nilgiri (6940m), Annapurna South, Annapurna I (8091m), Hiunchuli (6441m) and Tarke Kang (7193m), Gangapurna (7454m), Lamjung Himal (6986m), Mt. Fishtail ( Macchapuchre 6997m), Tent Peak and many more High Himalayas, trek down to Ghorepani after breakfast start trekking to Tadapani, A short early morning climb to the Deurali pass for a spectacular panorama over Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna, Trail descends steeply through dense moss-covered forest rich with bird life to Tadapani which provides you a close up sunset view.

Day 6: Tadapani to Chhomrong (2020m)

Today we trek descends to Kimrong stream through the forest of rhododendron. Then we walk towards Chhomrong crossing through the Gurung village. Chhomrong offers you close views of Mt. Annapurna south and Hiunchuli and the virgin peak, Fishtail (Machhapuchchhre).

Day 7: Chomrong to Himalaya (2900m)

After descending to the suspension bridge over the Chomrong Khola we hike the undulating trail to the small hamlet of Dobhan via the villages of Sinuwa, Kuldihar and Bamboo. About half an hour past Dobhan a shrine which is the sacred home of the deity Panchhi Baraha and next to it is a view of an impressive waterfall. Passing the Modi Khola the trail goes steeply up to Himalaya.

Day 8: Himalaya to Annapurna base camp (4110m)

The trail continues gradual ascending to Machhapuchre Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) takes arou5 hours. This area is called the Annapurna Sanctuary since it is totally surrounded by spectacular mountains.

Day 9: Helicopter fly back to Pokhara

Beautiful morning breakfast at Annapurna Base Camp and we will fly back to Pokhara. Evening explore the beautiful Pokhara city.

Day 10: Pokhara to Katmandu

Driving back to Katmandu by tourist coach. At the evening provided fare well dinner with culture program by Glance Himalaya’s Team.

Day 11: Departure Kathmandu

You will transfer to Kathmandu airport 3 hours before of your flight time for departure to your home
