Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty. Situated at an altitude of 827m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley, the city is known as a center of adventure. Phewa Lake, the second largest lake in the kingdom, roughly measuring 1.5 km by 4 km, is the center of all attractions in Pokhara. It is the center of culture and adventure in Nepal. Pokhara is really pretty, located at the foothills of the Himalayas. It is a busy city amidst with tranquil valley. It is the doorway for most of Nepal’s popular trekking and rafting destinations. The city remains always full of trekkers and backpackers round the year.


Day 1: Arrival Kathmandu

You will welcome you at Kathmandu airport by Glance Himalaya’s member and transfer to Hotel. Evening short briefing about the trip

Day 2: Kathmandu City Tour

We start our sightseeing tour after breakfast. The Kathmandu city presents a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence in the Valley. We will visit UNESCO World heritage sights including Pashupatinath, the largest Buddhist stupa in World Boudhanath, Royal palace and Swoyambhunath with sunset views

Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara

Breakfast, then we drive to Pokhra. Pokhara is the picturesque mountain town located in the lap of the mighty Annapurna mountain range with beautiful Fewa lake. Evening we enjoy boating or shopping at Lakeside.

Day 4: Pokhara Valley Tour

After breakfast, half of the morning is spent sightseeing in Pokhara. You visit the following; Bindebasini Temple, Saiti George and Mahendra Caves. You and your beloved can spend time together and explore the city on your own for the rest of the day.

Day 5: Pokhara to Kathmandu

We will drive back to Kathmandu. In the afternoon you are taken to Patan Durbar Square for short city tour including “Krishna Temple”, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar” (Golden Monastery) and Mahabodhi Temple said to resemble the one in Bodhgaya in India. You can explore more or shop around for local handicrafts and other things for the rest of the day.

Day 6: Departure Kathmandu

After breakfast in the hotel, you are transferred to the Tribhuvan International airport in Kathmandu to board the flight to your onward destination. Leave with happy memories of Nepal Himalaya.

The sightseeing and activities were better than we even thought! I still can’t believe we did so much in such a short time, but we did not feel stressed. We really loved the tour and would do it all over again in a minute! Thanks.
